Lake Minnetonka Engagement - Terah & Danny

"And I will love with urgency not with haste."
That's one of my favorite lines from the Mumford & Son's song "Not with Haste" and it also sums up a lot of what it's like to watch Terah and Danny be in love. Their love is urgent, it's needed and palpable when they are around each other. But it's not done in haste. It's not flippant or half-hearted simply to check something off a list of things to do. Their desire to be with each other, holding hands and finishing sentences and laughing at each others goofy faces is something they aren't afraid to show outloud. And as much as it is romantic and lovely it is also a ton of fun to just be near them.
So one lovely Sunday evening they walked down Lake Street in Wayzata, MN and hand-in-hand, chased the light all the way from one end to the other, and it couldn't have been more perfect.
I'm so grateful someone wanted to park their vintage car just in the perfect spot for a photo op! Also, I love working with couples who don't think twice when I ask them to stand in the middle of a busy road for some epic shots!
Seriously, Terah, you are too gorgeous!
When in doubt of a good place to take a photo of a seriously beautiful ring, the steeple of a tiny model church in a little model village happens to work really well!
Lake Minnetonka is usually really pretty. This night, however, it took the beauty of Minnesota lakes to the next level.
